- Push the inspection camera into the line.
- Power on the Hot-Spot receiver and set the tracking frequency to 512 Hz.
- Use the built-in speaker to track the highest audible pitch and signal peak.
- Follow the on-screen arrows until they merge into a central diamond icon to read the precise pipe depth.
- Active Power Line Locating
- Switch the locator mode to the lightning bolt icon.
- Choose the corresponding power line frequency (60 Hz or 180 Hz).
- Sweep the area to identify buried live cables before digging or excavation.
- Utility & Metallic Line Tracing
- Connect an external Gen-Eye 5-Watt Transmitter to a metal pipe, valve, or tracer wire.
